Booking your session
Our journey together begins the moment you fill out an inquiry form but first, you'll want to decide on which collection you want to invest most in. Once you're ready to make it official, we'll complete the contract and invoice, securing your special date on my calendar. This is where our journey of creating magic together begins! I'm thrilled to be your photographer and I'm truly so dedicated to documenting your story.
Planning
It's time to plan and make the vision for your session come to life! Whether you want something cozy + romantic, sentimental like your family homestead, or adventurous like boating on the lake, chasing waterfalls, hitting up a local arcade or exploring location with unique architecture, the choice is yours! All story sessions have access to our client closet which you'll receive a link to within our session prep guide that also includes what to wear vs what not to wear for your session.

The day is finally here but first let's refresh your memory on what to expect during your session. Children can do no harm. We are not forcing children to smile but instead, capturing them in the pure element of their childhood by encouraging them to be who they are. We are focused on making memories and capturing that connection between you and your family/partner. Story sessions with me are more prompt based to create more candid moments, a relaxed environment and to have fun!
your gallery
The shoot is done and now the eagerness to see the results from your session is starting to kick in. Your turn around time is always listed in the contract you sign at booking however, here's a basic run down. Gallery turn around is about fourteen to twenty-one business days post session. During slow season, they are likely to be returned much sooner whereas busy season can be closer to the twenty-eight or thirty business days mark depending on my schedule. Sneak peeks are not always a guaranteed to be shared but I love to share them as I can. Gallery links are sent to the email provided at booking which include a set of instructions on the best way to download your images and also includes access to a professional print lab for all your printing needs.
FAQ
I. Do you charge to travel?
I include up to one hour (around 50mi) from the 46227 area. Anything outside of that, I charge .50/mile with $37.50 per additional half hour.
II. Do you offer mini sessions?
I made the change to offer full experiences for anyone who books with me however, in 2026 I will be offering mini sessions (outside of the seasonal themed mini sessions) or weekday evenings only during Spring + Summer.
III. How long do i have to upgrade my gallery?
If you select a collection that does not include the full gallery, you will absolutely have the option to upgrade to the full gallery/purchase additional images within 30 days of your gallery being sent out via email.
IV. How long will it take to receive the images?
You can expect your images to be delivered via online gallery to the email address provided during booking within 21 business days unless otherwise stated. Busy season can sometimes cause this to be within 28 business days instead.
V. What should we wear?
I will help guide you on wardrobe choices, especially as tones can be a big deal depending on the location. I almost always recommend neutrals or earthy tones. No neons or distracting prints. All full story sessions do have full access to my client closet.
